Which tax returns does a farmer have to file?
An unincorporated farmer reports farm income on the personal return, using form T2042 (Statement of Farming Activities); Québec residents also file form TP-80 with their Québec return. An incorporated farm files a T2 corporate return (plus a CO-17 in Québec). Sales tax returns and, if you have employees, payroll slips are added. We take care of everything.
